I was suppose to be twenty pounds thinner, and have at least 2,000 dollars in my bank account. I was going to learn the Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto no2, and then attempt to break Martha Algerich's record by completing the Tchaikovsky Bb Piano Concerto No.1 in less than three weeks. My sleep deficit was expected to go to normal, and I was going to be very active and roam the Miami streets searching for fun activities to take part in.
Yeah right!
Summer, to say the least, was far from eventful. I spent most of my days at home trying to fight off my Reese's Peanut Butter Cereal obsession, and countless hours pondering about absolutely nothing. Of course whenever my mind grew tiresome I would simply glue my fingers to my gorgeous upright piano, and sink into the thousands of music pages I made my mother print at her job.
For most people this would be enough to "accidentally" commit suicide; however music saved me once again from the summer cabin fever.
Don't worry, the summer wasn't a complete waste. I did manage to pull off a one hour and ten minute piano recital, and resist prostitution... Just joking I didn't think about prostitution... I should have. Darn! I also saw over thirty blockbuster movies, and over five movies in the theater. I know! I became one of those men who watch movies, and sulk at home with rather delicious jalapeno pringles, and chocolate covered raisins! Recently I went to Viscaya with the lovely Marylin, and my new friends Natalie and T-dawg. lol For my final outing, I will be going to Chelle's house on Friday to watch the Beijing Olympics!
Well summer is ending shortly, and I'm counting down the days till I can finally move into Stetson University. Seriously, I've been counting down on my facebook. I know it's sad. Laugh at the overly excited freshmen if you wish. I'm still going to wear my hunter green Stetson hoodie with pride.
Well anyways, I leave Tuesday! I know so soon. How can all of you live without me? Well you can't, but you can try. ;-)
