(no subject)
Hmmm ... Just thought I'd log on and catch up on some peoples and their lives ... but really, no one seems to have posted in ever (myself inclusive!!) So I figured it's time I picked up on my slacker ways and posted something ... even though people might not even read it???
Anyhoo, had my SECOND day of work today ... that's right - my second. Oh, it was all so very exciting ... uhh ... stirred stuff ... sent stuff through a column ... sent more stuff down the same column ... more stirring ... more squirting. Did you know that it's taken 2 and a half days to equilibrize this damned thingamabobbit at pH 8.5 ...?!? Anyways. Considering i was there for 8.5 hours, I really don't feel like i did oh ... ANYTHING. I need RESULTS man!! RESULTS!!! Haha. I was just telling Derek a couple of days ago that he's only been on the job for a week and a couple of days and that he shouldn't expect results so quickly. *Sheesh* ... Also ... when are people going to tell me what the frell I'm supposed to be doing?!? WHEN AM I GOING TO GET MY TRAINING?!?!? I'm just helping another researcher person in there ... it's weird because all of the people in the room with me are so young - I think the oldest guy is 29 ... Also, I'm probably the youngest person in this company - everyone thinks I'm 4th year like all the other coop students employed there. Gah!! I'm not that intelligent yet!! I haven't learned that!! I feel inadequate?? But not really?!? ... I wish people would tell me what I'm supposed to be doing there *sigh*
Less confusing update on this later ... I'm tired -_- (yes, at 8:40pm ... sad, isn't it?? Well that's what happens when you wake up at 6am to get to work in ABBOTSFORD on time at 8am ... sheesh ...)
