Delay, Delay, Delay...
So my laptop harddrive killed itself in November. I lost the progress I had for NaNoWriMo, all my Tomomi chapters, the random songfics I was working on when I was stuck, my music, my photos, my videos... Essentially the last year of my life, kaput. Gone. Can't recover it.
I had a brief love affair with Linux and contemplated getting a new laptop, but instead spent all the money I'd made doing daycare, on Christmas presents. It's okay, I found the product key for Vista, and a friend had an install CD, so I'm back up and running. Just... with less music.
For a while I was too depressed to even TOUCH my fanfic, and then something amazing happened. Wheezambu, from MediaMiner, updated the fanfic "Possession". It made me cry and want to write. So I dug through the archives of drafts I'd sent to Kitsune and started on chapter seven again.
Then scrapped it.
But I am writing. And Kitsune and I are having fun. xD
