The list was almost complete, now all he had to do was create the atmosphere. Izark had found candles easily enough in their own home and, using his unique powers, lit them around the room. They lit up the room one at a time; on the table, on the windowsill, the counter top, the dresser at the bottom of the stairs... bathing everything in a warm red glow.
Propping the flowers against the box of sweets he headed upstairs to find that his fiancé had gone for a walk.
Happy to have some time to finish setting up the perfect 'Valentine's day', he began to cook.
