Hello, femslashex creator! I'm so happy you're writing for me and I'm certain I'll love anything you write! Below are a few specific likes and dislikes of mine, if that helps you out.
DNWs:
-Rape/noncon presented as sexy
-Incest
-A/b/o and other really heavy or specialized kinks
-Porn without plot
-Longing that stays longing and never resolves
Likes:
-Hurt/comfort, large-scale or small-. Here for characters processing trauma history and other characters helping them through it/becoming a safe space for the person they're supporting.
-Porn that contributes to either plot or character development. No porn is 100% fine too.
-Angst, though how much I like this depends on the fandom. Happy endings are usually nice though, and I'm not anti-fluff either.
-Character progression/characters coming to terms with themselves or their lives or some aspect of themselves.
And for the specific fandoms:
The Worst Witch
Hecate/Indigo - I'm up for either adult!Hecate/adult!Indigo or teen!Joy/teen!Indigo. I felt like subtext on the show pointed pretty clearly to Joy and Indigo having a romantic/passionate relationship, but I have not found a lot of other people in the fandom who ship it, so it would be cool to see Joy/Indigo explored, especially because so much of who Hecate is was shaped by that relationship and its fallout. But I know they're teens, and while I'm not asking for anything E-rated or anything, if you'd rather explore their relationship as adults I would totally be down for that.
Izzy/Azura - Definitely nothing sexual here, please, unless you'd like to age them up. But I'm more interested in seeing them experiencing just-barely-budding romantic attraction for the first time and trying to figure out what it means and what they want. This could literally only go as far as hand-holding, or maybe a sweet, innocent first kiss. I just think their relationship is super cute and I like the idea of them finding something new together. (Also, I headcanon literally all the teachers except Gwen and Algernon as queer, so they have a lot of options of mentors to talk to, but I would be super excited about seeing Hecate somehow being put in the position of trying to comfort/help them, because it's way way out of her comfort zone and yet I think she would genuinely want to help confused/closeted kids. I feel like that could play out in ways that would be both sweet and entertaining, in addition to Word-of-God-via-Emma-Reeves'-Twitter-compliant. XD If you wanted a background relationship involving Hecate I like both Hicsqueak and Hackle, whichever you want.)
Dimity/Julie - This is such a good pairing and there's not enough fic for it! I like that Dimity changes over from "Miss Hubble" to "Julie" in the finale, as she's struggling to grasp Julie's hand, and it could be fun to see where that leads post-finale. Is a magical/non-magical relationship an issue? Does Mildred know Julie's queer, and what does she think about the two of them together? How do the other teachers react? Or you could just do a cute first date or something for the two of them. Or anything else you want! I'm open.
Downton Abbey
Violet/Isobel - I absolutely love the relationship between these two and would be interested to see how a romantic aspect of it would play out. Seeing both their perspectives on that, given their era, would be interesting.
Baxter/Original Female Character - I am (obviously) a Raquel Cassidy fan and I really like Baxter as a character but I don't like her with any of the canon characters, so here, have an OFC to play with. Maybe there's backstory with Thomas's sister, and that's part of why she's so compassionate with Thomas? Maybe the good old prison-cellmate-lesbians trope? Go anywhere you like with it. I'd just like to see more of Baxter, who I feel gets kind of shafted wrt screen time, especially in the first movie.
The Hunger Games
Clove/Original Female Character - Clove is so badass, and so hard, and so warped by life as a Career, but I also get the sense she's very passionate and I would love to see her in a relationship with someone who could bring out a different side of her at times, someone who makes her struggle a bit against everything the Games have forced her to become.
Foxface/Original Female Character - I find Foxface really interesting and I think there's so much room to explore her character. I would be here either for her being shown to be a fundamentally decent person or for her being instead a really sly sneaky person who is only out for number one. Your call. Also I thought I requested Foxface/Rue but apparently I didn't, so if you want to write that, feel free -- though, again, if Rue remains 12, no sex, please.
Lucy Gray Baird/Original Female Character - What happened to Lucy Gray??? I know the mystery is the point but I would very much like to see it demystified all the same! Does she find people to live with up north, as she planned? I definitely headcanon her as bi/pan, anyway, and it'd be fun to see her either with a woman or with an AFAB or femme genderqueer/nonbinary person. And I know we see Pluribus's gay nightclub and all, suggesting the Capitol doesn't necessarily, like, expel its gay citizens or anything, but still, I wonder about whether queer relationships are accepted in the districts, and if not, might there be a queer colony of people who left/were thrown out of the districts and made their own space? I'm always interested in explorations of what the various districts look like anyway, so that could involve some cool worldbuilding.
Songcatcher
Elna/Harriet - I know this is the tiniest of fandoms but I just love these two activist lesbian schoolteachers founding a school in rural Appalachia for the benefit of impoverished children, okay? Give me Harriet coming back to Elna, or an exploration of what happens to them after the movie's end, or what happened to them before the movie's start. Give me the two of them being political, or domestic (what was it like when they basically adopted Deladis?), or nerdy, or silly; give me the two of them happy or angsty or both.
Agent Carter
Peggy Carter/Dottie Underwood - I love every single thing about how Bridget Regan plays Dottie, and Peggy is just so reliably terrific. In this pairing I'm not so much about enemies hate-fucking; I'd rather Dottie and Peggy be allied in some cause or other -- the episode in S2 where they break Dottie out of prison to help them out makes absolutely no sense logically but I'm so about the character dynamics! I love how obsessed Dottie is with Peggy (there's some Bridget Regan quote about how she feels like Dottie wants to fuck Peggy, kill Peggy, and be Peggy all at the same time and it's perfect) so I'm anxious to see what they could have between them.
Frozen
Elsa/Honeymaren - I am convinced that Honeymaren is actually the answer to #GiveElsaAGirlfriend and am so excited for more development of her character. Even after the events of Frozen 2 I feel like Elsa is still likely to be a person who wrestles to a degree with self-image/self-doubt and worries about revealing all of herself, and my headcanon is that Honeymaren can ground her and support her through that and help her to come to terms with it and be happy. Drama or fluff is fine.
Elsa/OFC - Go anywhere you like with this. I have to confess that a very long time ago I saw a Tumblr post (which now seems to be deleted) about how Elsa's girlfriend should be a hijabi Muslim princess with fire powers, and I went hearteyes for that, but asking for that here would be awfully prescriptive and possibly plagiaristic? Either way, I'd like Elsa to be paired with someone who is smart and kind but is a foil for her in other ways, so explore that however you want.
The Good Fight
Diane Lockhart/Liz Reddick-Lawrence - Earlier in the series I could take or leave this pairing and then "And the fight had a detente" happened, and, look, when my TV shows give me lesbian fake!dating tropes RIGHT ON THE SCREEN, I am powerless to resist. (It also helps when the fake!daters are played by Christine Baranski and Audra McDonald.) I love both of them and would love to see more of Liz especially -- I'm glad she's been getting more screen time recently but I'm so up for more about her! But, yeah, the fake!dating thing was super entertaining and I'm very interested in whatever you can spin out of it.
Ocean's 8
Lou Miller/Debbie Ocean - I enjoyed this movie so much and loved Debbie in particular, despite her really being almost entirely one-note for the whole movie. She never breaks out of that cool, crisp, assessing persona; we only get the barest glimpse of what's underneath in the moment when she realizes Asshat Dickbag Whose Name I'm Not Even Gonna Bother to Google Because He's Not Worth It betrayed her and she was going to prison, and for like a half a second when she said to someone about going to prison that "you have no idea what that's like." I'd like to see more of what's under that impregnable emotional armor and see who she is in passionate moments, which I am 100% sure she has. She and Lou as a couple are essentially canon since she says the thing about picking up douchebag boyfriend because "Lou and I were in a rough patch," so -- who were they together? What was that rough patch? Where are they going?
Thank you so much, creator! You're the best.
