(no subject)
ok. so... i'm just gonna update, and as always my life is really really boring, so don't expect this to be very interesting.
i just got home from going on a walk in the park with leo and his friend. i had to stop by a couple spots to look for evidence, but everything was in the clear so it's all good. we walked as far as the ditch behind the tennis courts and the golf course, then went home.
before that i went to jack in the box with kate. it was the same as usual, but for some reason we were the only people there. before that i got gas. it sux cuz it was like 2.12, but when you get closer to i-10 it's like 2.19, not that 7 cents is much of a difference.
and so as i was driving down huebner on the way home from school right before the construction i look at the car beside me and see herbie, the bari sax player in the driver's seat. i try to get him to notice me but he doesn't even pay attention. so when it went down to just one lane cuz of construction i let him in front of me expecting him to notice me and wave or something. then he turned right on whitby. so somebody besides kate lives kinda near me in the sac band.
in band today we had a substitute. leonard didn't like him cuz he was cock-eyed. i didn't know what cock-eyed meant. kevin the tenor sax guy was flipping his hair and i was like "that's sexy do it again" and so he did it again and i was like "omg your turning me on" and he did it again and i was like "ok, stop its too much." it was funny. well, i thought it was funny.
i skipped government and history cuz and stayed in my car to read my book. i got through the first part of the book and got to the second part: The Laughing Tiger. I don't know how much longer this book can go on, I thought it was over a long time ago but whatever.
the reason i skipped those two classes was cuz i slept through nutrition. i thought we were gonna have a quiz but she postponed it. we learned about minerals and something else, but i'm not sure what. i didn't want to sleep through those classes too, cuz i woulda felt very rude.
child psychology i actually stayed awake through the entire class which is like a first. i considered counting how many times the professor smacked his lips, clicked his teeth and cleared his throat, but i only have 10 fingers. did that make sense? it was a joke. like, i count on my fingers, but not really. that man annoys me sooooo much.
amazingly there wasn't much traffic at all on the way to school. i left the marshall parking lot at 7:45 and was at school by 7:10. usually it takes around an hour.
last night i sat around, but before that i worked at dave and buster's 11-5. i finally got my yellow card, so i can do stuff on my own. i was being trained by jason. but when i was left alone, there was a rush of people. one of em asked how much a beer mug was, and it wasn't labeled. so i was looking through the bar code book and couldn't find it. they labeled it as "bevelled glass" i found out later. but i had to tell that guy i didn't know. then this lady was checking out and i was trying to scan her items but i had to use the book cuz it wasn't labeled. and the scanner went crazy scanning everything on the page. so i'm trying to remove each item one by one and the lady's like "why don't you just clear out the whole order?" and i was like "that's a very good idea."
most of my time spent there i was sorting the backscratchers and glowsticks and bottle openers by color, not because i had to but cuz i wanted to. there were too many colors of the glowsticks so i gave up. they'll all be messed up by the time i go back anyway. i don't know when i work next. it's either friday or saturday 3-11. the rest of the time i was rearranging the plush so it looked nice and labeling spongebobs. i got to listen to the radio today which was nice. and i met a guy named jerry who's a bartender/cocktail waiter/food waiter or something and he was really nice and giving me advice.
before i went to astronomy class and took a test. i actually read 2 of the 4 chapters, so i hope i did better then last time.
wednesday was usual.
tuesday i worked 11-5 also. victor was training me and then johnjohn tried to train me on battle tech. i accidentally kept making fun of the game and how dorky it was and he's like in love with it, so i felt bad.
before that i went to astronomy and mostly slept.
monday was another usual day.
sunday i woke up around 2 and didn't get dressed until around 6 cuz i had to wait for my laundry to get done. i did nothing.
saturday i worked 1-3 and then 8-4am. it wasn't as bad as usual. it was busy though.
friday i went to school.
thursday i went to school
wednesday i went to school, then i went to work training at d&b again with victor.
tuesday i went to school, then came home and spent most of the time getting ready to go the movies with chris which was tons of fun.
monday i went to school then i went to orientation at d&b. and those are my almost past 2 weeks.
i have a really boring life.
i might got to lunch with chris tuesday or thursday.
