[There seems to be a piece of paper stuck into the journals: it appears to be an (old) geometry worksheet that was assigned approximately... a month ago. Only one of the problems is visible to the viewer, as only a corner of the paper was jammed into the journal, presumably to keep his place.

[Being the Good Student that he now is, Ryoji is currently in the library, working on the assignment Jade assigned the students over the journal. He's currently sitting at a table, chewing thoughtfully on a pen, staring at a piece of paper littered with scratched-out attempts at starting the paper.
He also has some old worksheets that he found lying around in his apartment -- he knows he won't get any points for them now, but points don't matter! All that matters is learning! But math is hard so he's abandoned that in favor of the paper, which he still can get points on. ... if he can get started on it at all, that is.]
