I'm a little, I don't know, disappointed in the ep. But that may be because they always seem to wrap up previous cliffhangers in the first five minutes and it's like it never happened. Also, I'm not sure what the point of keeping the doctor in custody was if he had the President on his side - did I miss something? was it a ploy not to arose the Silence's suspicions, or just to get Matt in a beard (because if it was, I am so not complaining).
And River? Could I love you more? Her storyline is so heart breaking, and yet she's so much fun, but she has these little moments (like her 'and a last' near the end) that make me teary eyed - I'm almost afraid to re-watch the Silence in the Library (and whatever the other one was called) again knowing what I do now (and Moffat has promised us answers to who she is which I think will just make me sadder - why do you insist on playing with my emotions Moffat!)
Little time lord child? Amy's child? I'll confess that I have no idea where they're going with this, but I trust Moffatt, and I'm sure it will be good.
I also have no idea about the Silence (with or without a capital 't'?) but they are still the creepiest thing I have ever seen on TV. And Amy is supposed to 'bring the Silence'? Is this a reference to the child? *scratches head*
Also, on the shallow end, damn! Everyone looked super hot in this episode. Arthur, looking dapper in his government uniform, Matt in his straight jacket and beard (don't judge me!), Alex in her dress (and then again shooting everyone at the end), Karen ... well, she just keeps getting prettier every episode, and Mark Sheppard *sigh* ♥
The Full Monty guy is the King! - the show gets a gazillion points right there :) And bonus points for putting Jason Momoa, Lena Headey and Harry Lloyd back on my screens (even if Harry plays the creepiest brother ever!).
This show is very incestuous isn't it? Are the books like that too?
The set design is amazing though - that alone is probably going to keep me watching this show. I've already downloaded eps 2 and 3 so I should be up to date shortly (and hopefully be able to remember everyone's names a little better).
