this year's halloween costume
i'm going to have the most awesome scar ever. mike and i have decided that this looks so unreal that it's like a bad halloween costume.
it feels really good to be home. it's still really hard to move and do things. i don't know what i was thinking...i had the idea that even though i knew i was going to be in pain, i thought i would be functional. i thought i would be able to sit and write letters, go on the computer, work on projects. i brought all kinds of things to the hospital for me to do while i recovered. i wasn't able to do any of them. luckily, i'm able to do more now. i'm even sitting up and writing this by myself! yay! recovery is hard, but i am getting better!
