The bulk of my exams are overrrrr - just two more that I'm not too bothered about anymore. And then it's off to Suffolk

Do they have to be practically unheard of? Because Natalie Cole did a whole album of her dad's stuff (Nat King Cole). She released a version of Unforgetable, where she was dueting with him, but her voice was just added to the track, he was already dead by this point. Does that make sense? I'm tired and my brain is frazzled.

I was thinking that maybe the dude from The Wallflowers did some of Bob Dylan's songs, but then I remembered that he, like, doesn't like people talking about how he's his father's son.

I don't know why I told you that, seeing that it doesn't help you in the slightest.

I do, however, know that Inara George covered her dad's song "Trouble" on a tribute album. If you've ever heard of either of them. So that doesn't really help -- I don't think Lowell George counts as a big famous musician, but his daughter is marginally less famous than he is, so I still win.

I'm going to become souper famous now, write a few songs about pain, loss, alcohol, and troubled childhoods or some crap like that, and have one of my offspring cover it to see if it really is as strange as it seems

Ah - well it's not like I'm gonna be sightseeing or FringeFestival-attending. I'm going at the beginning of September to Connect Festival avec Jack. I told you, right? Rilo Kiley and Regina Spektor are both playing, among other greats. It's gonna be epic.

At least, though, whilst I'm in serious debt with my parents, you'll be totally loaded. My last exam is on Monday. I think we ought to have a Classics breakfast whenever my house is free. I'm not sure when that will be, and I'm going camping at the end of next week - but I will Get Back To You.
