I am very, very sad.  This was one of my fave shows. I watched it religiously last year, and this year I was ecstatic when they brought it back. Now I am crushed!!  So very crushed!!

The drama comes to an end
Despite efforts from its passionate and loyal fans, Jericho is coming to an end next week.

“The March 25th episode of Jericho will be the series finale,” said CBS entertainment president Nina Tassler. “We thank an engaged and spirited fan base for keeping the show alive this long, and an outstanding team of producers, cast and crew that went through creative hoops to deliver a compelling, high quality second season.”

When word got out that Jericho, which premièred in the fall of 2006, would be cancelled, avid fans started up the “Save Jericho” campaign, and bombarded the network with nuts. The publicity was almost too much to handle and the show’s nutty crusaders got exactly what they wanted - a second season of Jericho. But while fans were rewarded another season, there just wasn’t enough viewers tuning in.

“Without question, there are passionate viewers watching this program; we simply wish there were more,” continued Tassler. “We have no regrets bringing the show back for a second try. We listened to our viewers, gave the series an opportunity to grow, and the producers put a great story on the screen.

“We’re proud of everyone’s efforts.”

The series finale of Jericho airs Monday, March 24 at 10 p.m. ET on A-Channel, Tuesday, March 25 at 10 p.m. on CBS and Saturday, March 29 at 8 p.m. ET and Sunday, March 30 at 5 p.m. ET on SPACE.
