Different Path
I'm not doing what I thought I'd be doing with my life, but it's ok...I haven't given up on Art and fashion, but my current option: working with the deaf, isn't so bad.
I currently work for a special needs phone company. I help the deaf, hard of hearing and speech disabled make phone calls. The job is pretty cool, and I find it to be very rewarding. Some of them are mean, though, but I feel good knowing I am helping others. I have also decided to learn American Sign Language (ASL). I was pretty cocky, thinking it would be so easy, but I was set striaght pretty quick. I have a deaf cousin who is very helpful, and she makes learning the language much easier, not to mention fun. She likes to teach me the naughty bits, when I seem to be frustrated. :)
