(no subject)
Sure had a lot going on last week.
Wednesday and Thursday at was my aunt Van's because she went to Arizona again and she wanted me to stay there and watch her daughter. It was fun to get to spend time with with serene and she's really growing up and smart. I also have to say that I was pretty bored when she was at school since my aunt doesn't believe in letting the kids watch TV. So no TV and I ended up being on the net checking out youtube most of the time. I was there last week as well but I was only there for 1 day.
Friday: the relatives started coming for Vinh's wedding. Of course more cousins to bond with until they leave. I ended up spending most of the day with Tam and Du and their girlfriends. We went shopping and I had to look for a dress.
Saturday: was Vinh's wedding. I had to say it went better than I thought it would. Many of us still aren't fond of Ann but I guess his parents are able to put their feelings aside since they seemed to enjoy themselves.
Sunday: Lots of driving around but working the church with the kids and at some point it was crazy and I'll go into detail about that later. During my break I went to my aunt's to see my cousin Hue from Texas because I felt like I need to spend some time with her. Then I headed back to church and did youth group but things went better that time around. Then on my way home my cousins called and told me that they're hanging out at the Block so I met up with them and then back to the aunt Farah's house. After that went with Hue to the movies to see the Prestige. I was a bit confused but it was pretty good.
Monday: spent the day with my cousins Harlan, Holly and Helena. We went to Disneyland because Shawn told me that he could get us in for free. I got to talk to him briefly but I still think that he's crazy because he's really over working himself. Things went okay at Disney but Harlan and Helena are the biggest chicken ever. They didn't want to go on the faster rides and as well all know rides at Disneyland aren't that fast. I took a lot to be able to get them to go to Big Thunder. Then we headed back to house since Disneyland closed at 8. Hung out with some of the other cousins for a bit.
They're all back home today and I really love spending time with my cousins but I don't think that I could spend as much time as I wanted since I had so many cousins to be with and so little time. It would have been great if we could have worked something out so that we all could meet up and spend it together but there's too many of us and some of them don't like being in big groups like Du and Harlan. As for my uncles and spent 4 nights drinking.
