It's not normal that for the 4th of July I don't have any plans. Normally we would have something at my aunt's. Our traditions have changed like we used to go to the beach every year with the relatives and then it went down to pool parties and BBQs. Now we've been having dinners and later on just have tons of firewords to the point that we're all bored and want to get it over with. But I haven't heard anything from my relatives and even aunt Tracy called me yesterday asking me about it. I thought that someone would call eventually and tell us that they're having dinner at so and so's house but to have get a call yet makes me think that they're really not doing anything. Oh well then.
Yesterday I went to the movies with uncle Han, who is newly separated and wanted to celebrate by going to the movies since his ex never wanted him to saying that it's a waste of money. We saw Superman Returns and I liked it. I know he liked he. I heard many mixed reviews but I think that in my case I never saw any of the old movies so I had nothing much to compare it to. I've seen bits and pieces of the movies when it's on TV but never saw 1 from beginning to end. But for a person that haven't seen any Superman movies I seem to know about what's going on than my uncle. He was arguing with me about it before we saw the movie but I'm glad to say that I'm right. I can't even remember when was the last time I went to the movies. I think that since uncle Han is alone now we'll be going more often. That's a good thing for me because it gives more something to do.
