Today, I am preparing myself for the grandaddy of all master-slamming, Jedi ass-kicking, Sith vibrating-lightsabre-reaming, largest bleepity-bleep DVD Marathon of all Cab-time!
I've brought sugar, I've got a croissant, I've got the squishy armchair and the uber-good heater, and a kitty lap-warmer and some of those really nice Kinder Bueno thingies that make you feel like you're eating something that's not really there.
And the 'ER' DVDs. Yes, can't forget them.
I haven't been able to find Season One, but Season Two and Three are now MINE, and by God I'm not resting 'till I've watched them both through.
Guess that means no sleep for me for two days.
There's four DVD's in each Season box. Each DVD is double-sided. Each side has four episodes, and extras. Ki'Chah knows what I was like with 'Due South'. THAT was only, what, thirteen episodes and a movie. This, in just one season, is TWENTY-THREE (or is it twenty-two?) episodes. Double that and it's forty-six (or forty-four) if I tack Season Three onto the end of Two. Then there's the Outtakes and the Deleted Scenes and all the other cool little extra's someone such as me could get lost in.
I'm going to be brain-dead. I can see it now.
Though, Mum probably won't let me hog the TV all day. But, hell, I have tonight and all tomorrow while she's at work, so I guess even though it will not be an HONEST marathon, it will most certainly carry the feel of one. Knowing myself rather well, I'm going to be spending most of the time watching the episodes looking for slashy bits between Benton and Carter.
Mmmmmmm... Resident Carter...
