6 - When you write, do you prefer writing male or female characters?
Male.
7 - Have you ever had a fic change your opinion of a character?
Yep. Hated Goku with a passion for a while until I wrote my own fix-it therapy fic.
8 - Do you write OCs? And if so, what do you do to make certain they're not Mary Sues, and if not, explain your thoughts on OCs.
Fairly irregularly, and if I do I base them on someone I know. It's much like art. You can't draw someone accurately or realistically if you're working from your head alone. With writing, you can't portray a person realistically unless you base them off of real personalities who are no yourself. Who has a realistic grasp on themselves? And besides, self-inserts turn into Mary Sues more often than not, our hopes for ourselves intruding on the portrayal and turning into something unrealistic.
