Potentially out rockin'
Well since I get to listen to my MP3 player at work I've gone on a rampant music aquisition spree. I asked my friend Steve for any music suggestions and he gave me quite a few, the winners of the bunch in my mind are first The New Pornographers and second Snow Patrol, with Deathcab for Cutie coming in after those two. I really like the New Pornographers already, if you can track down Miss Teen Wordpower or Twin Cinema, those are my two favorites so far. Also Even Rats by The Slip is an excellent track. The one band I'm disapointed I was unable to find on download was The Mocking Shadows, which according to Steve is a kind of jazy rock band, which is a kind of music I love in addition to having a kickass band name. Steve has a monopoly on the greatest band name though, The Meddeling Do Gooders, which is the name for his made up band, Explosion Factory was the name for his made up metal band. My personal made up band name is "Obscurity Fish".
Anyway, committed a minor traffic violation today, backed into an SUV in a parking lot, no damage and the person wasn't around but unfortunatly they had a loud and annoying car alarm. I might be in trouble because I didn't want to wait around for the hour or so it would take for the guy to get back. Oh well.
