Why were Bush's pages shut down from the Europeans?
And didn't they already missplace a bag full of voting tickets? I think it will be no different from the last time. :(

But then again.. I was just watching a documentary about Bill Clinton and he made it even though he was surrounded by scandals and really unlucky in many ways during his campaign.

Because they're afraid! What else could it be? They know that only Americans are stupid enough to fall for the shit that they would be printing. How tacky and obvious. I wish they made a bigger deal out of it, because that's huge!

I have to hope, I have to. I don't think you can be a cynic about the entire thing because its so serious and its EVERYWHERE, it would be easy to. It is inconceivable for Bush to win (I'd say again, but he didn't even win the first time).

There are Bush fans and right wing assholes in Europe. It's just that here the press is mostly from the left side of the political spectrum. Just look at Berlusconi, he keeps changing laws so that they better fit his own agendas. Like when he was about to be accused of illigal activities on court, he changed the law so that he could not be taken to court! And now there is a huge fight in EU because the Italian EU president wanted to put a man who is sovinistic and anti-gay in the place of a human rights- minister!

I dont think it's your people that are stupid (ofcourse all kinds of idiots can be found in a country that big) but it's your press.. To an European eye many things in your press are scary.. Well we ofcourse see so little of it that maybe they just show us the scary bits.. And here the yellow press in England is mad.. so it's not like Europe was any better. Unfortunately.

To my eyes too. A lot of people's eyes. That's why I say to educate yourself, because if you take what the media has to say with a grain of salt, and look further than the mainstream you could actually learn something.

I just had a phone call from the Bush people reminding me to vote for Bush and my local candidates and I said I am a Kerry volunteer, so you would probably want to take me off your list. That's two today!
