I'm thinking its a sign....Minnesota is Kerry country!

This morning's Al Franken rally was quite a success. Al, as we all know, rocks. Really rocks. What a down to earth just normal guy. We got to the DFL headquarters at the too early time of 8:30 and while we were signed on to do set up, and what a good thing too, because otherwise we would have been in various parking lots directing traffic (and in the rain). So instead we were in a teeny room with a girl I swear to you looked just like heronnoire, I kid you not, making signs that we would later distribute amongst the crowd. I think my artistic talents far exceeded Daena's look a like, obviously you can look like someone but artistic talents are not so easy to match. My "We love Al Franken" sign and "Minnesota is Kerry Country!" signs were spectacular. We'll see if they, or even myself make any photographs or news segments.

I am wiped out though, despite being drenched and without much sleep...because in addition to getting up at 7:33 (does anyone else set their clocks for strange time just ...because?), I didn't sleep very well last night. It was raining too much so I didn't get the digital camera out. :( But I did snap some pics with my grandma's disposable. Who knows how they will come out, there were many umbrellas and people.

I shook hands and rubbed elbows with local candidates, it was pretty cool. Although I can't shake the feeling that they all think I'm the strange girl. I don't know why, maybe its because a lot of people know each other, and I'm this youngin' that no one knows.

Now I have this giant afternoon and evening ahead of me and I'm so sleepy. Oh okay, partly lazy too.
