I'll start with an open letter to my dearest friend eljay:
Pookie,
Not letting me and others set up any new notifications is not exactly cool. It kinda sucks.
I know it's a known issue and will be resolved as soon as possible, blah blah, but when are you planning on fixing it? It's been more than a week already. So, sort it out, kthx.
Next
I've discovered the wonder that is watching TV shows online and I watched Gossip Girl and The Office in the last few days weeks. No, I don't have a life, thanks for asking. And I don't want one. :)
Gossip Girl:
Awww, I wanna be 17 again, but then again NO!
Random thoughts:
* Chuck's nose scares me
* Rufus is kind of hot...for a dad
* Do you have to cross Jenny's room to get into Dan's?
* What is this whole eating-yoghurt-on-the-steps-thing all about?
* and most important: How do they manage to keep the girl's hair curly? Every now an then (the last time was probably seven years ago) I get my curly tong out and go for it. You should know that I have butt-length (is that a word?) hair and it is straight. So straight that even the AFA would appreciate me. So yeah, it actually never works. And that's why I bow to the Gossip Girl hair-dressers. <3
The Office:
Dwight Schrute is a sexy beast and my hero. I envy Angela like whoa! I've snorted coffee out of my nose once or twice because of him (eww, I know).
He's so ridiculous (and I mean that in the highest form of praise), it's amazing. Oh Dwight, where have you been all my life?
I finished season 2 this afternoon and I awwwwed a little at the finale. Jim telling Pam that he loves her and the kiss...this was really, well touching.
I've recognized a lot of icons that I saw around LJ while watching, I even had a few Office icons on my computer without knowing what TV show they were from.
Like this one:
I like Vodka and men, who dress up silly, so this icon really spoke to me.
I accidentally spoiled myself, but I'll try to act surprised when I watch the season 4 finale.
Anyway, I really enjoy The Office, it's funny as hell and I always squee like crazy when I read B.J. Novak at the beginning. ♥
Another great thing about watching shows online is that I'll be fluent in Chinese soon. (hello subtitles) I can already count (and write) to eight and I can write down the Chinese ideograph for 'No'. Try to beat that! :D
