Women and children first? Not so much.

The bus I take to work every day, caught fire this morning. I kid you not. When I got on I thought hmm, what's that smell? Oh well, probably just another human being, who thinks showers are optional, but it got worse and then I saw it: Smoke and I was all: That's strange. Smoke on a bus?! LOL.
I think I should mention that I only had two hours sleep last night, thanks to a long overdue IM convo with a friend, so my brain was still kinda half asleep. The bus driver yelled: OUT, EVERYBODY OUT! and that experience made me realize that I do not wish to be part of a mass panic. Ever. I mean, we were, like 30 people on a huge bus, with three doors, so plenty of room for everyone to get out and no need to panic, but some acted as if the bus might explode any minute. This is real life, people, not "Alarm für Cobra 11" (a crappy German TV show where they drive with 20 mph into a haystack and, BOOM, the car explodes). Seriously!

I had to walk the last mile to my office, but I can tell you that I'm wide awake now. XD
Plus, I feel like a survivor. *hums song*

rl, omg no!
