Happy Valentine's Day everyone! I hope you're all having a great Sunday. Did you exchange Valentine's with anyone? For Valentine's Day I got my bf a copy of the Wipers' second album & the Beach Boys' classic, Smiley Smile. I've also uploaded a Valentine's Day mix for all of you! 02. Yielly's Alphabet is a sweet blog where each month a post is centered around a different letter. Yielly features her favorite websites, music, and writers. I found out about Yielly's blog when she posted about my music blog Side Ponytail earlier this month. Thanks, Yielly!
03. I spend a lot of time on tumblr when I'm working (it's a fun way to fill the gaps in the day between meetings.) One of my favorite tumblr's belongs to my friend, Alana. If you're on tumblr, be sure to check it out!
04. brightrealities asked me to post about the R Word campaign, which focuses on language awareness & eliminating the use of the word "retarded" as a derogatory term. You can read this post on brightrealities's journal to find out why she's chosen to support the R-Word cammpaign.
05. badassmutha4o00 asked me to post about Piewacket Blog, a sweet lifestyle blog with posts about pulp novels, cooking, & crafting. I suspect that the blog takes it's name from Piewacket the cat, from the classic movie Bell, Book, and Candle, one of my all-time favorite supernatural love stories!
