well ronnie and i are doing what we thought we'd never do: a 1600 mile round-trip roadtrip.
yikes.
tomorrow we head to our westerly adventure. the itinerary is as follows (in case you were wondering):
friday, june 1: drive with the wilfongs to salina, kansas
saturday, june 2: drive to silver creek, colorado to stay in condo with wilfongs
sunday, june 3: chill in silver creek, check out sites
monday, june 4: head down to colorado springs for the day to do pike's peak and garden of the gods
tuesday, june 5: leave silver creek (and the wilfongs) and drive to las vegas to see ANDREA!!!!
wednesday, june 6: make andrea show us the strip and all the sites in the vegas
thursday, june 7: leave the vegas and drive to the grand canyon, then stay in kayenta, arizona
friday, june 8: see the four corners monument, drive to the great sand dunes, then stay in colorado springs
saturday, june 9: head home, stay in salina
sunday, june 10: re-enter civilization (i.e. the metro-east)
let's hope we make it without killing each other. i think the killing will most likely occur around saturday, june 9. but that's just a guess.
i'm most excited to see andrea, obviously, but the grand canyon's a close second. wooo for navajo territory!
