bubbles!
today i went to tamtams but it was lame because it was raining earlier in the day and there were only 5 or 6 people drumming.
the cops were there harassing because the crowd was small enough for them to be under control, unlike most weekends. it was such an odd thing to see. they arrested some guy for absolutely nothing then left, probably satisfied with themselves.
we saw this crazy guy making bubbles with this amazing wand that he would stick in a "sheath" full of bubble juice, then when he waved it in the air, the wand would unfold to create a loop for the bubbles to come out. he made huge bubbles!
he told us where to find them and since the metro was free this weekend everyone went over there and bought one each. then we all went on the roof and played with bubbles and ate jelly bellies and had a grand ol' time.
