Long time, no see...
I changed my mind about moving somewhere else. There are a lot of memories on here, I don't want to just throw them away.
So, recent news. I've made a new friend in the form of a guy named John, but he's gone to Malawi for 4 months so I won't see him for a while.
Dave and I are still together. It was our 11 months a couple of days ago, and last night was our first proper argument I think. A bit of a scary moment, but it opened my eyes and I see now what needs to be fixed in order to strengthen our relationship. Oli Dickinson has a great line which describes what I want to say to Dave right now:
"All the things I ever was, all things I used to be,
Don't matter anymore because they're not the things you're gonna see,
Everything that gets to you I'll change."
I hope he reads this, and I hope he believes it.
My friend and soultwin Kellie is going back to America before the year is out. The Atlantic isn't that wide is it? Texas isn't really that far away if I think about it hard enough. She'll still be with me, and I hope she can be happy over there. It's all I wish for her - to be happy.
I'm back to school on Wednesday, so lots of French logging to do in the next few days. 6 weeks worth to be precise. What a beast! Should have done some before. And I have a biology assignment to do. Bugger. I'd forgotten about that one... Oh well, it will all get done. SHIT! Personal statement. Oh bollocks. I hate growing up.
