1st season question....

Nov 05, 2011 00:49

Yes, I'm here. Yes, I still watch the show. Enough about me.
I can't help but wonder what the call back is all about.
There is a lot of mentioning of things of the past. Most importantly season one.
Tonight it was Missouri and it's been various other things this season.

I think maybe there's so many fans that didn't get seasons 1 and 2 when they happened, maybe the TPTB are cashing in? Getting them to buy the DVDs? OMG, I'm so cynical. Hi Smilla! I'm like you, though. I'm digging it. Give me nostalgia.

HI! *draws hearts around you* How are you, honey?

[I'm digging the feel of season 1 and 2 as well.]

I got here via the internets, Lemmy. You should post more often and I'd come out of hiding. But remember John? I miss John. I'd trade seven Castiel's for one John in a coma. Sigh.

Smilla, I am well! I hate the move to Friday nights, though. I always forget, and then always feel like I'm missing something on Thursdays! I'm such a dinosaur.

haven't watched the ep, but it's downloaded. Unfortunately, I have a houseful of 12 year old boys in the house for a birthday party/sleepover today (plus a book fair that I have to show up at) so I don't know when I'll get to watch it! Boo! Hiss!

I've forgotten how to reply properly in LJ! Hi Baq! How the hell are you??? Honestly, I'm just out the door now with an armful of kids books for this big local book fair (though I've made the cupcakes for the later birthday party). Whew. Who's going to walk the dog? Hello! Household! Will someone walk the dog???

More later. We should all get together more often (she says, her the worst offender on the planet).

BWA!!
Yes, we have a dog now, and it is *so damn complicated*. Cats are so much easier.

I am - pretty good. Had a spot of bother this summer, health wise. It's all in my lj under 'personal' if you care to look. Am now enjoying the hell out of the autumnal weather, and Show, and trying hard to get back into the writing groove. I seem to have become the *most slow writer* ever. Gah.

Bebe is in Color Guard this year and that has been fun and a bit crazy-making, what with the running around, games, competitions, and practices, but she's enjoying herself, so - yay!

YES WE SHOULD! I'm here, just come a callin' any time. :)

*have a fun book fair!*

I had fun at the book fair! We sold lots of books in a very short period of time, which is somewhat the point.

Then Boychild had his b-day party, which is still going on. I can hear them yelling at the TV downstairs. Halo or some such thing.

The dog is SUCH a complication, but a fun one. I confess to loving the damn dog.

I confess I had to look up what a color guard was, but after I did, I assume that being in one would involve a lot of practice. My brother is a musician and when he was in the army, he was in the band and they had a lot of practices.

Thanks for letting us use your LJ for catching up, Lemmy!

Yay! I haven't been to a book fair in ages. Or a bookstore. There isn't one around here - so very annoying.

Birthday parties - such fun! Always so much better when they can be shooed away to entertain themselves, heh.

The dog is...oh my. She gets so *nuts* when Cat comes home, running around and doing this barky-whimper thing, so i let her out and she *ruuuuuuuns* to meet him and dances on her hind legs and is TOO EXCITED TO PEE OMG!!! until she isn't. She's funny.

I thought, after i posted it, i should have explained color guard. She calls me into her room at various times to show me rifle and flag moves, while i cringe and think 'please don't bash the light fixture'. So far, so good. :)

Yes! Thank you, lemmypie!

Oh, and should also say that I'm glad you're recovered from your "spot of bother". Medical crap...grrr. Myself, I'm still getting over breaking my elbow hiking on the west coast this summer. Stupid fall and long recovery. Dumb.

Thank you!
And ow! Can't imagine breaking your *elbow*. Ow, ow, ow.

It's frustrating, isn't it, to want to be 100 percent and your body just not *cooperating*! Heal faster!

We should get back together sometimes. I miss you! ♥
[And you and Lemmy are adding another layer of nostalgia to that season 1 and 2 time, now. :)]
