...omg, doggy!
So, Mom and I have been going to shelters and looking at dogs recently, just to see if there were any dogs we were interested in. Today we hit the Green Bay humane society, and we fell in love.
This is Kia. She's an Australian Cattle Dog mix, and she's 1 1/2. She is an absolute sweetheart. We took her outside, and she flopped right down to get her tummy scratched. And if Zora gets along with her, we'll be taking her home tomorrow! ^_^
Seriously, we filled out the adoption form after playing with her, got approved, and paid $20 to put her on hold until tomorrow (the $20 turns into a donation if we don't take her home, but it's worth it). Mom and I will take Zora to the shelter tomorrow and see how she reacts (hopefully not badly *fingers crossed*). If all goes well, we pay the $200 adoption fee and take her home right then and there! ^_^;
