So yeah... NaNoWriMo is fast approaching. I'm in the middle of trying to decide on a story to write, but I'm not worried. I have an entire month to make my decision and start plotting. ^_^ I may have to cut down on the podcasts a little during the month of November, though. (Since I think I may run out of time to do that, and school, and NaNo, and translation, and keep up with my tv and anime. But we'll see. ^_^)
In OMG SQUEE news, the next Mishima book comes out Wednesday! ^_^ Haven't read any of it, but I'm still an obsessive Mishima fan, so I'm planning on buying it, even though I'm pretty close to broke right now. (...Come to think of it, I haven't cashed the $20 check Grandma gave me for my birthday... I can get it with that money. ^_^) It's called Papa I Love You, and it looks cute!! ^_^_v
And, oh yeah... Today I had to take my brother to the doctor. See, Saturday night he apparently jumped down off a platform or something. It was only about 2 feet down, and he landed flat on both feet, but later (I think later that night, but definitely the next day) he couldn't put any weight on both his heels without large amounts of pain. (And as much as I feel sorry for him, it's funny to watch him walk like that. ^_^) So today I was kind enough to drive him to the doctor... and wait for him to get done. (I took my laptop with me. ^_^;)
The doctor says he strained the ligaments in both his feet/heels, and they're all swollen, and that's why it hurts. So nothing major, and it should be better in a few days. I think he's pretty relieved about that, though I don't think he's quite so happy about the prospect of a few more days of pain when he tries to walk anywhere. Still, at least nothing was broken. ^_^
And one last thing... At the moment I'm reading a bl novel titled "Youma-sama ni Daimeiwaku" (Big Trouble from the Demon-sama, or something like that...). It's a silly little story about a high school boy who finds out the guys in his family serve as keys to the door that connects the demon world and the human world. His dad ran away, so now he has to lock the door every 3 days. Needless to say, he screws up (actually, he runs away because he's a big scaredy cat), and some demons get loose... and a guy who I think is the king of the demons (at least, I swear he said he was earlier) comes over as well to help round them up. And based on the pictures later in the book, there is sex between them (it's a bl novel, of course there's sex). It's pretty cliche, really, but it's got some pretty illustrations... by Umezawa Hana, the mangaka of Ai to Yokubou wa Gakuen de (the one about the school for boys who plan to go into sex related professions). ^_^ So yeah... It's fun.
