so Sarah Rooney is a personal hero of mine. She has no idea why, but it has to do with a little Christmas present with a Bible verse written on it. I didn't think much of the verse at the time, but we had previously discussed it's importance and while returning to the verse, I see why.
Isaiah 43:18-19 "Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland."
yeah that sums up the thoughts that have been rambling through my head. I woke up the other morning and just thought to myself how blessed I am and how wonderful it is to have God give a new opportunity each day to create something spectacular in your life. Let Him work his magic and great things can come about....you just need to let him take the wheel.
in other news, i sent everyone on my buddy list a virus link. my apologies to everyone who clicked on it. i really had no idea. i also dyed my hair tonight. ok so you can't tell a darn difference. it's supposed to be medium ash blonde. more like, the same color i had before. maybe my hair just doesn't take well to color from a box. my mom, godmother, and sister are coming to visit this weekend and i'm kind of excited about it. i'm saying major prayers about it as well. let's hope all goes well.
oh yeah and one of the highlights of my day was making craig an ice cream sundae at dinner and seeing him discover that i put a little surprise consisting of peas and carrots under the ice cream. the look on his face was priceless.
the other highlight was spending some time with Jaymes tonight when I wasn't in a great mood. it's amazing at how much better he can make me feel just by sitting next to me.
