If you feel like reading about my time in Texas, visiting Bobby in the Air Force, then click here.
I'm back all!!! I had the most incredible time in Texas. I did miss my flight on Wednesday nite, but it wasn't a big deal. I caught a 6am flight the next morning. I arrived in San Antonio maybe 10:30 their time, 11:30 our time. Ev and Raul picked me up. I was so nauseated from flying. I don't like it. Don't wanna fly, but it was all worth it. The weather there, not a hair state! We got to the base and everyone already knew who I was. I had strangers coming up to me giving me a kiss and saying hi. We got to see Bobby just for a bit. Walked around the base. He looks good, aside from the fact he has to wear these really big glasses. To paint you a picture, think about the movie Renaissance Man! LOL, Looks like a goofball, but then again everyone there are wearing the same glasses too. Friday he graduated. So very proud of him!!! We took a tour of the his dorm, met some of his bunkmates, then he was able to go off base. We went to eat, then just hung out at the hotel. Saturday, picked him up a 9am, got breakfast, and hung out at the hotel again. Dropping him off that nite, sucked cuz it would be the last nite any type of PDA could occur. While in uniform and/or on base no PDA's are allowed. You can hug for exactly 4.2 seconds, and that's it. Sunday, he wasn't allowed off base, so we picked him up at 9am, went to go sew his stripes on his uniforms, had lunch, and did a bit of shopping. This all on the base. Now that he is starting tech school, he is being put into a new dorm, where rules have changed. He will be able to hang pictures, he gets phone privleges back, and email. Which is all very good news. It sucks, it's another 10 weeks that he's gone. But in a few weeks people are allowed to visit him again. He doens't come down til' about June, but at least there will be much more communication. He did buy me a dog tag that says private property of an airman. And he got us those chains that are two pieces. One you keep and one u give to ur significant other. It is official, we are together now. For all those who've been dying for this to happen already. Anyways, dropped him back off at his dorm, and that was it. Left to the airport. It sooo sucks. But he's happy, very happy. And I'm happy for him......
