Delay
The reason there has been no update on Signs And Warning for a tad is twofold:
The next chapter is a bit difficult for me. I didn't actually write this fic for the plot - I wrote it for the myriad interacting images in my head, and also to resolve a Supernatural plotpoint which has been bugging me, and sadly, won't come out until the very end. There are also several scenes that popped into my brain and demanded physical realization. Most of which, also, won't come out until the end. The two you have seen are chapters 4 and 6, whose rapidity of actualization stunned even me.
Also, it's been brought to my attention that description can be a good thing. Here's to actually helpful constructive criticism!! Sara, I am working on it, I promise. *huggles*
The second reason is actually more pertinent - and here, I will paraphrase Sam in Houses of the Holy. Ahem. Thank you, Amazon.com, for "enabling [my] sick habit" and shipping me Supernatural Season 2 weeks before I expected it to arrive!! And yes, I am "like one of those lab rats that pushes the pleasure button instead of the food button until it dies". *evil grin*
I'll do my best to . . . do something. Today. Yeah. Or, y'know, possibly not. I am sorta addicted to Season 2. :)
