I recently completed three nonfiction books for this year's challenge. They were:
1.
Beasts Beyond the Fire: True Encounters With Man-Killing Denizens of the Land and Sea, by Michael Jenkinson. An interesting book that discusses true-life attacks on people by sharks, bears, wolves, and snakes.
2.
Back to the Astronomy Café, by Sten Odenwald. A collection of questions posed to Mr. Odenwald via his 10-year-old website, Ask the Astronomer.
3.
There Are Two Errors in The The Title of This Book: A Sourcebook of Philosophical Puzzles, Problems, and Paradoxes, by Robert M. Martin. A very witty guide to modern philosophy with chapters on God, probability, belief, good and bad reasoning, and logic.
Next up: Stephen Hawking's A Briefer History of Time.
