Even though you never met them.
The Nazis used the term "the Final Solution" to refer to their plan to murder
the Jewish people.They killed approximately two-thirds of all Jews living
in Europe. Six millions to be exact.
Around 11 million innocent people died in the holocaust.
A number so big its hard to comprehend.
People living in concentration camps with so inhumane conditions that it is
difficoult to imagine all their pain.
Having to accept both physically and mentally tortur every day.
The most horrible torture you can imagine.
Everything from starvation to working yourself to death.
It is estimated that about 1.1 million of these people died at Auschwitz.
The largest concentration and extermination camp ever built.
At its peak, Auschwitz I contained over 18,000 prisoners - mostly men.
