For real this time.
Where to begin...
So life has been CRAZY lately. I have been exhausted for about 3 weeks straight.
Work has been non-stop insanity. I was there until 7:45 last night. I just want a job that doesn't make me want to go home and get wasted every night... But it should be over for a while... huge meetingwas today. Now it's just time to clean up the mess we all made trying to make the showroom look pretty.
In other news, we (Chris and I) are moving to Harlem. Hooray for leaving Queens!!!! I am EXTREMELY excited to be getting out of here. I need the change of scenery... badly. The apartment is nice, not any larger really, but a better layout with new appliances in the kitchen, and a renovated bathroom (hooray!!). Oh yea, and NO CARPETS!!!! WOO HOO!!! The area is super nice too. Lots of new condos going up around, and a BRAND NEW Pathmark, which is very exciting... because I am lame. But, yea. Yay for living in Manhattan!! We move in September 1st. It will be good.
Music is going good too. Just released the album, and we have gotten only good feedback about it. We have a potential indie record deal opportunity with this guy who has been trying to do stuff for us for a while. I guesshe just got funding for his label, and he is sending our stuff to his investors for the go. So we'll see about that. I'm not getting my hopes up though. We only have one show lined up... which sucks because we just played 3 shows in the past month which were great. I really hope we get on the CMJ marathon... that would be awesome...
Overall I think things are just starting to wear down. The only craziness I see in the near future is the move (did I mention it is a 5th floor walk-up?). I'm getting too old for this ;)
