Learning languages?
My hobby is learning languages. My written English is not so good but I don't care. I rarely write anything in English. Sometimes posting in English on LJ. I am better in understanding and reading English and if I must I can speak English on a decent level.
I used to learn French and Korean and I love both very much.
I had a teacher who taught me French (she was Hungarian) and she made me hate the language. She was not a good teacher.
I started to study Korean because of DBSK all by myself then with an acquiantance. They both left me or I them.
But I really love these two languages and I would like to start learning them again.
I googled language schools and there is one where I could pick up french and an other one where I could start korean again both nearby my workplace. They are not so expensive and I could easily get to the schools on foot from wrok. Both courses start and end at an acceptable time.
My boss supports learning especially language so he might accept if I would like to attend a course.
The problem is that I feel old. Old to learn. Old to start again and I don't have the confidence anymore.
But should I go? It is my hobby anyway and learning languages always makes me relaxed and calm.
But what if I am too old? :-(
