I would have to say that I've never seen such a relaxed model, was her first time and before we got onto the main theme we shot these. It was almost as though nothing could ever hurt her, like she was just floating through or something. I think she would be responsable for having inspired me to do the previous set of myself. You know what? She is right, I'm not dead, or will I ever die from it, I didn't suffer, I didn't even come close to loosing a limb. The only thing that was in my way was my ego, count on a 21 year old to teach that to a 40 year old. Once you put the ego asside it's like... wheeeee!
I wanted to create a sort of dark personal concept, for this the blacks are flat and her mid skin tones are very dark but still high in contrast. I saw a less extreme of this once in Going Dutch magazine. So after many photoshop layers... where most of them did nothing, just a good old playing with photo filters and levels et voila...
