MMO Monday
RIFT - Just in time for the debut of MMO Monday - we downed the big gold dragon-boss Laethys last night! Woo!

Overall though, my raiding has become nearly non-existent. In large part due to the baby boy, but also the guild merger into left me a little empty and less motivated. I just don't have the loyalty to that I had to . On the plus side though, I'm not an officer and I also don't have any responsibility or obligations either. And that is definitely nice. I show up when I can, raid if there's room and don't sweat it otherwise.
Pretty, pretty wings...
Aion - I went back to Aion when it went free-to-play, along with martinhesselius and cifarelli. And we didn't last terribly long. The Legion we jumped to, , died a pretty quick death as well. And Aion still has a botting/gold-selling problem. And it's still grindy, though not as bad as it was, at least for leveling. (The current halloween/harvet event is another matter entirely. It's grindy to the absurd ~400 mobs to get the items to trade in for 1 ticket, which you can trade for goodies... but only if the brewer you chose to get the ticket from happens to be the winning one. Yeeesh.)
But, oh, the wings! I do so love Aion's flight system.
So I'm back once more, trying again. I just Saturday Legion-jumped again, into a large, old legion And I'm trying to learn to pvp, as there is no end game pve in Aion. It's all what Aion calls "PvPvE" and which, to my mind, bears a strong resemblence to POS warfare...
So, we'll see! If nothing else, at least the price is right!
