Fiddling for Souls... or something like that
Fiddle lessons last night went okay, though I'm a bit frustrated at "Devil's Dream", which I still can't do accurately or at speed. She passed me on "Old Joe Clark" tho, so "Devil's Dream" and "Cripple Creek" (which is easy) are the only songs keeping me from finishing that book (Absolute Beginners Fiddle). :D
Also finished the Essential Elements #1 book and have started in on book #2 there, so yay! It counts as progress, or something like it. ^_^
Meanwhile, my instructor may end up on a cable TV show about weddings - I gather it's a semi-reality show focused on a wedding coordinator that she happens to work with. Here's hoping it goes well! *crosses fingers*
In gaming news, RIFT is entirely addicting. Hit 44 last night, just doing the new dailies and trying to clean out some grey & green quests in Moonshade Highlands. May have to put off the that clean up, though, as too many of the area rifts are grey to me now.
This leaves my Kelari girl way behind, but I figure I can catch her up once I get elf prick (high elf purifier/inquisitor = prick) chick to 50. My kelari did manage to sell a rare drop from the last world event, so she'll be able to buy her lvl 40 mount easily, which is nice. :D
