My aunt is visiting and we went to a portion of Gallery Night this evening. There were paper dresses, glass leaves, grass spiral photographs and whimsical girls. I now have my own darkly whimsical girl to hang in my room for an extra early Christmas present. *squee* My aunt is bringing one home as well. It was very difficult to narrow down the choice, they were all so intriguing. The artist is Juliette Crane and her website is juliettecrane.com
I have the girl with the parrot dress and the red sky, "Trust What Lies Ahead." It was a close debate against "Girl with Wings." There was a girl with horns that I considered, but she doesn't have an image on her site. Her paintings will be up at EVP until the 16th, if anyone wants to see more of her work. She has quite a few and they're all delightful. Yeay, art!
