Fall planting
Our garden has begun growing! The garlic and chives have both begun to peek out of the earth. We have mystery bulbs unfurling from their wintry homes. I look forward to seeing what shall bloom. Our neighbor has lovely snowdrops this year. They are a delight as the first bloom of the spring.
This is our first try at garlic. Every clove I planted has sprouted; hopefully we will have 8 heads of garlic to harvest! That's $7.50 staying in our pocket on a $0.50 investment. If harvest goes well, we'll be planting much more garlic next year!
