The weirdest surprises in recent "fandom" memory

ROFL.  I'm suddenly getting into Charles Schulz's Peanuts universe.  (What?)  I read the comic strip and watched the animated incarnations in reruns when I was a kid in the 90s, but never placed a high value of interest on it above anything else.  In fact, it was never one of the funniest comic strips out there.  But -- I guess that's because I was a kid, and I've learned now that it's not exactly kid-style humor.  Now, I've started revisiting it and finding it much more resonant with my adult sensibilities.  I want to read more, watch more, look up character information, all that good stuff.  (And I want to read that Schulz biography from a few years ago when I can get my hands on it have more than a stolen shred of free time here and there :'( . *Waves a fist at School*)

I'm kind of in love with Peppermint Patty.  D'oh.

Additionally, I've been watching 80s Brat Pack films lately. >_>;  Yeah, they are cheesy, but *SOB, THEY ARE SO TRUE*.  There, I said it.  GTFO if you want to get on my case about it, okay?!?
