Re: Twilight
Eclipse, that is. Kay, so I said I wasn't going to see it, but my boyfriend actually convinced me to go and see it today. (Yes, that's really and truly what happened.) It was quite a bit better than I thought it would be, and leagues more cohesive than the first two (although that's still not saying much for the overall story arc of the film, which was still kinda a weak excuse for actiony battles and "OMG proteckting Bell-la").
So yeah, pretty entertaining -- Sometimes it had me hanging on the next word, despite myself -- and I don't quite dislike Edward as much as I did before. It was nice to see backstory for some of the other characters. I even teared up just a teensy-weensy bit a couple of times. Some quips between Jacob and Edward seemed clearly written for the film and were rather hilarious, being a bit meta.
I'm afraid of what I hear comes next, though.
