I got back from Germany a few days ago!
Other than some mishaps such as missing a flight and getting locked out of a hostel overnight (which was actually kind of funny), it was a really great time. I know a little German, but I was also with my boyfriend who speaks fluent German so there we no real problems getting around.

As for the humidity, I live in SC, so, I KNOW HUMIDITY! :D To go some place where there is none? That would be nice, but, it has to do with geography and being near/far from the equator and the temperature of the ocean and how close you live to the ocean, etc....
I'm glad you have an awesome time though! It's cool getting to go out of the country and seeing new things and experiencing cultures!

If you think germany is clean you need to go to Japan. THERE it's clean.

Hehe. I once broke a japanese window because I didn#t get how to open it.
The bread is so fresh and good.
That's propably one of the few reasons I'd miss Germany if I lived anywhere else. I don't really like the kind of "bread rolls" I ate in London.
I don't like greasy American breakfasts.
I love warm breakfast! But I don't get it here ;)
c) German "cold" = American "a little below room temperature"
I dislike cold drinks... even if their "german" cold.

Japan has been at the top of my "must visit" list practically forever. But Germany was up there too and it just happened to work out this summer. About "everything is clean" again... Uggh, I am very curious now and must ask whether you've been to America. Because to my American eyes Germany was certainly a paradise of cleanliness!
