(no subject)
Today, Dana Scott, who is the older sister of Rachel Scott (one of the people killed in the Columbine shooting) came and spoke at Grimsley. She started playing a video of footage taken that day. I broke down. (For those of you who don't know, I lived in Littleton when it happened.) I have so much trouble hearing/seeing things that relate to Columbine. That day was the most influential day of my life. &everytime I think about it I remind myself about accepting people, and how things would've been different if Eric &Dylan had been treated better. I wrote a poem about Columbine for creative writing... "Taking their lives shows no __________, But taking your own shows something more" I think I'm going to leave that space blank, because I can't think of one word that would fit. Although what Eric &Dylan did was horrible, I sympathize copletely with them. It fathoms me that two boys felt so much pain that they exurted it like that. Ok, the end. A large THANK YOU to Allie, who took care of me through this. <3
