The T Word
I'm hearing it all over recently, and it's starting to wind me up. Why the F is everyone using twitter? I know I know I'm posting this on my LJ which is only one step away from updating my feed whilst I'm on the crapper, and there's a fair degree of hypocrisy there.
I just find the concept fairly offputting. Making a cup of tea? That's fine but I don't much care about it.
It's when a word creeps into popular culture that it starts to get annoying, also I think some of it's users tend to sport a degree of evangelism and it's getting to me. Do you twitter? I twitter. olollolol derek twittered me on my twitter.
This rant brought to you by a long day at work and a shit bbc article about people talking about twitter on telly which contained the accursed word three times in the space of four short sentences.
