Like I say, I'm not sure I disagreed with you on any points. The tone of the posts I thought was a little harsh on people for taking a vast interest in affairs overseas while spurning politics at home. It's absolutey a good thing to encourage people to take an interest in local affairs, but not so much to lambast them for making the decision to spurn them. Perhaps that's because again, I'm that person.
... and I apologise, because I didn't understand your line "I guess I should be saying this to the actual political parties over here more than the voters?". Or rather, I didn't understand what you were suggesting should be said to the parties, so if the message is "give us more to care about", you're right, because I don't care about why Suit Guy A says Suit Guy B sucks .
