alright...my sisters visited me from saturday to tuesday around the change of last month...can't think of the dates off-hand and too lazy to double click on the time to figure it out (that in no way indicates that the visit doesn't matter, i just don't care about the dates that much). anyways, we had so much fun...the whole weekend was like a jr. high sleepover with laughing and giggling and staying up late and excessive junk food and us trying to quiet down to not get in trouble for waking people up and did i mention laughing. ahhh, i can't think of what we laughed about, but i do remember laughing pretty much the whole time they were here. i love spending time with my sisters, it always puts me in a good mood, and i will miss them over the summer when they are with colorguard. then after that, they go away to college for the first time!! they're getting so old--they can even vote for god's sake!!! they're 18! my brother's 20! i'm older. (hehe, 23) i can't believe how old we are, it still feels like we're all in our middle teen years. luckily for me, i am taking the next year or so off of school to figure out what i wanna do--so i'll only be working and it will be easy to visit my siblings!!!!!!
crap, what was i talking about.....hehe, i just reread this. i remember in high school when we read the catcher in the rye, and the teacher told us that it was written in stream of conciousness and it might be confusing because the author changes topics all the time....not so much confusing for me. i mean, hell, i do that. the book was easy to read, and if i ever wrote a book, that's probably what it would be like--the only way i could write something without going out on a tangent would be if i had someone to edit out the tangents....speaking of tangets...back to the original topic of the post...
when my sisters were here we went to the museum of science and industry. it was fun, first we went up to the top floor--big mistake, so boring, i think they expected people to learn on that floor. anyways, we didn't spend much time there. ok, highlights only: we made these top things, and they have our names on them and the date and the name of the museum...very cool. we even got to choose the color and watch it being made...so very much fun, that made the museum worth going to! we also got our picture taken...very cute picture. hehe, when we got it, we even got the student price...so fun. we saw this huge train set with a model of chicago and seattle and the mountains in between. (train like toy model train set). it was cool to look at--it was even interactive and you could make the metra train move, and chop down a tree, and have a boat whistle...by pushing a button. they were also filming something when we were there for tv....i wonder if we got in any of the shots........
ok, that's about enough for the museum. lets see, when they first got here, we went to jewel for food and blockbuster for some movies. on sunday we got leonas for dinner. on monday we went to the museum and got aj's for dinner. we made tacos for lunch on tuesday before they left. all the time inbetween was spent watching movies, tv, eating, and talking. it was so much fun...i can't wait till the next time we can spend time together.
we are going to see rent on sunday may 2 at 2pm, i'm so excited!!! i've seen it before--and love it--and my sisters are going to see it for the first time. it's gonna be so much fun!!! i so cannot wait!! i hope we can make a weekend of it...speaking of weekends....
last weekend, i went home saturday afternoon to sunday nite. i went to go to my sisters' guard compatition on sunday. i had fun...ok, the guard stuff itself was boring, but my sisters show is really great...i mean, it's not just that it's my sisters either. i've seen their shows other years too, and never got into it, this is the first time...i'm not sure why... hhmmmm, oh well, who can hope to understand my mind? definately not me, that's for sure!
ok, that's the highlights of the last week or so--quality time with the sibs. my brother was there for the last weekend too, but we didn't really spend too much time together... ok, signing off for now...more to come soon!
