(no subject)
iTrouble! You guys, I have a question to anyone who's any good with Pages (or just better than me! it's not hard to do!), and it is this: Adding a Special Character into my text following the path specified in Help (which, you know, you don't actually need Help to find) takes approximately 27 steps including things like sending out homing pigeons and doing a little interpretive dance. If there are a handful (say, four (4)) Special Characters I'm going to be using on a constant and regular basis (as opposed to all the other Special Characters which I'm likely to use Never), is there Any Way for me to create Shortcuts for them (Keyboard or Toolbar, I don't really care, though Keyboard would be far nicer)?
(I feel extra stupid for not being able to figure this out on my own, I will admit that - but Saint Bridget of Sweden sitting on an omnibus, does Pages have the most unhelpful Help section known to man or what? I can't even find out whether it might allow straight-up Unicode-like in-putting somehow OR WHAT.)
