DIR EN GREY @ Austin

It sucked and rocked at the same time D: I feel so heartbroken because we couldn't get in ;___;

We got there around 4 PM and waited in line FOREVER until around 7:30 when they told us they wouldn't be letting anyone in without a badge or a wristband. Fuck. Then some staff people were kind enough to pull up the tarp thing so we could atleast see through the fence. BUT they left it up for all the bands that DIDN'T MATTER and then pulled it back down x__x;

Oh, but they teased us with "We'll be letting 50 people in for $15 each. Get in line!" so we did. From what I saw they only let in a handful of people and the rest of us were waiting to get in until we heard DEG starting and thought fuck it and ran to fence. I could barely see a freakin thing with my lack of height ;_; Atleast I saw most of Kyo, Die, and Totchi's upper bodies ♥ I barely saw Kaoru and I FINALLY saw Shinya when he got up and left the stage when they were done.

Their performance was AWESOME though. I'm grateful I got to see it, even if it was through a fence and didn't get the best view.

Such a shame though, all the attention our lame-ass sign (actually, I think it's quite awesome xD) got but none of it from Dir en grey D: WE MADE IT FOR YOU DIRU, FOR YOUUUUU! ;___;

Okay, enough whining. The good aspects of it. Diru fucking ROCKED! And we saw them FOR FREE which left me with money to buy MERCHANDISE! :D Got me the Jessica single and a DEG bumper sticker and STILL had money leftover ♥ AND John, who's a sweetheart, gave us a whole bunch of Dir en grey and JhouseRock flyers. A BUNCH. All you had to do was ask him for some o.o

I was able to get my stupid fanart to Diru :D; Thanks again John ♥ Should've gotten them a sombrero though -___-;

Got interviewed and photographed by this guy from Jrock,Ink. magazine. That made me giddy.

While we were in line in hopes of getting in I noticed this Japanese guy down on one knee trying to take a picture of our sign. It finally registered in my mind that I was holding the sign and that it was upsidedown o.o So I fixed it and the picture was taken. Then he came up to us to show us how the picture turned out. I couldn't really hear him cuz of the band that was playing but he said something like "I am photographer for Japanese magazine" so I was all OMGWTFBBQD:!!! Then he asked me, slowly, "How. Do. You. See. Dir en Grey?" D'aww, he was so cute xD Told him I thought they were awesome, that they were sugoi and he went into this OMGYOUSAIDAJAPANESEWORD thing o.o If I find that picture in a magazine, I'm buying it...even if the pic is teeny. D:

That's it I guess ._.
Uh oh, post-Jrock-concert depression is starting to set in. OH GOD NO!
