What a lousy start to the week...
So last week was great - Melissa was visiting on her spring break, the cats were happy, food was made and life was good. We even got treated out to dinner twice by our wonderful aunt - and she included tickets to the stage show Dirty Dancing one night.
Today - first of all, it's Monday. And even though Friday was the first day of spring, it's not even 32 degrees yet. (At least it's sunny!) And of course, I'm still unemployed. Then, at the end of a wonderful happy birthday call to my dad...he announces my mother just returned from the vet in tears and without the family cat.
::sigh::
